Unlike a regular gallery, CAN is an inclusive organization -- it creates a broader platform for a wider range of artists.

It champions the work of emerging and mid-career artists, creating a resource of  contemporary painting, sculpture and photography.

Our space occupies the entire fifth floor (4,000 sq.ft) at 580 Eighth Avenue and 38th Street in New York City.

I
t incorporates five separate galleries, which allows to hold several simultaneous exhibitions.

It is open to the public from 12 to 6 pm and by appointment.

Conveniently located between Penn Station and the Port Authority, near Times Square and the New York Times building.

CAN is easily accessible by car, bus (M104, M20, M10), or subway (A, C, E, N, R, 1, 3).

Rumi Poetry

http://peacefulrivers.homestead.com/Rumipoetry1.html

Jelaluddin Rumi, the 13th century mystic poet, was truly one of the most passionate and profound poets in history.

This site has poems by Rumi. It includes two different translators of his work. Coleman Barks on the first two pages, Shahram Shiva on the third. On the fourth page is a selection of Rumi love poems by both translators.
