Cosmic  Flight Series

Isham launched out into the open cosmos in the series named Cosmic Flight. In this series, the birds move above and beyond the earth, overcoming distance and separation. Extremely dense themselves, these beasts and birds taunt us with the potential for establishing a habitable society of their own. They invite us to enter and follow the directions they take as they capture elusive currents which make themselves felt in pin-pricks of energy, in surges and vibrations of color. "Follow the directions we propose," they seem to be saying, "and perhaps these inhabited worlds will open up to you."
